Thank you for making a donation in memory of Elyse Ola Mary Bailey, “Izzy”, born August 1, 1994, passed out of this world and onto her next journey on December 23, 2015. She was the much loved daughter of Edward and Debra Bailey, sister to Natalia.
Ola came into our lives when she was 3 and in her short but vibrant life, she had to deal with many struggles that came to her through no fault of her own. She met them all with determination. The only struggle that ever beat her was her last one.
Ola loved her large extended family. She loved music, animals, especially horses and dogs and her own dog, “Mishie”. She had a faultless sense of direction and we were never lost when we were with her. She loved to play hockey and she was a fierce goalie. She was a cadet and had risen to the rank of Warrant Officer. She was a dancer, a rider and held a black belt. She loved going to plays in London, the shell beach at Galiano, Bon Air in Guernsey, building sandcastles in Mexico and snorkeling in Hawaii.
We loved her and she knew it; she loved us and we knew it. We remember the many joys she brought us. We lived, we loved, we hugged, and we had fun. We will miss you big until we are together again.
"Think of your child, then, not as dead, but as living; not as a flower that has withered, but as one that is transplanted, and touched by a Divine hand, is blooming in richer colors and sweeter shades than those of earth." R Hooker
